I am applying to this school and have just been told my 81% on the reading portion for Teas V is too low. Apparently the program is very competitive and you must score at least a 95% on that portion. Now I am upset because I have to sit through the whole exam again just to raise my grade on that portion. What makes it worse if I get anything lower then the 81% they will only except the most recent. This is my first choice but the way it looks it will be hard to get it. Not to mention 800 applicants applied this year! Anyone get into their program with less then 90% on the teas? It seems their main focus is the Reading Comp.

spoke to bhcc today, they said letters should be out in two weeks...when is rcc deposit due

I called Bhcc today as well and this said letters are going out this week so not sure which is right. I don't recall my letter stating anything about a deposit. Orientation is on May 25th and they stated to have all financial aid sorted out by June 1st. Also CPR cert and immunization by July 1st I believe. I really hope I get into Bhcc because if I go to RCC I will have to find a new job:(

I got into BHCC evening program fall 2011.. Did not hear from Roxbury.... They were so unorganized there, probally did not even process my application. I score 82% on teas. Ellis? did you get into bhcc

Congrats! I got in as well though I applied to the weekend program I got into evening. The evening program may be difficult for me to do along with work but I will try to make it work. Did you see we have to have the registration money the day of orientation? I have no idea how I'm going to get 1500 bucks in two weeks. Well congrats again, this is just the beginning of a great but difficult journey.

Did you apply for Fin. Aid. You can use that if you did. I applied to the day first, then evening, seems strange we did not get what we wanted. Check out BHCC payment plans on their web site. Maybe we can switch if someone is willing to trade? See u the 24th. Are u declining Roxbury's admission? I am still hoping for the MGH accel bsn I will know in June.

I did not apply yet, I was waiting to see if i got into BhCC. I've applied for a pin to do it online, should have it by tommorrow I think. It seems the day program filled up quick because my other friend applied to that as well and got into evening instead, in order to get in you would have to go on a wait list. The only upside with the evening is that I will have Sundays off. Looks like the schedule will be M W TH and Sat. Bhcc was my first choice so yes I am declining RCC.

Hey guys,

I got into the RCC program and never heard from BHCC, does that mean I got rejected? Help! And does anybody know what the schedule for the weekend program would be for BHCC?

thanks

That is possiblly true. I was accepted to Bhcc but did not recieve anything from RCC, so I guess I was rejected there. Bhcc only took 28 for day 28 for night and 15 for weekend. We had to e-mail them by 5/17 for seat comfirmation. Not sure the method to all the madness.

mzmupz? what was your teas score.....I'm think they overlooked my application at RCC?

I would call admissions to find out if all letters have been mailed. They can look up your app to see the status as well.

Congrats, guys! I just finished the program at BHCC (days) so feel free to ask if you have any questions!

Mbrickle how did you like the program? Where did u do your clinicals? My concern is that they will send me far to do clinicals and coming frim work at 3 might be a challenge to get there by 4. Do we get to choose where? How often were text and quizzes given? Every week? Thanks in advance for answering my questions. Also if you can give us any tip in suceeding in this program what would it be?

How does it look for jobs in boston with a asn
