This is a thread for those who have been accepted to Bunker Hill Community College. Our journey finally begins December 5th! :woot:

Jeez I thought they would have sewed them on for us lol. I'll have to check when I get home if my package came in. Between my online Christmas shopping and all the books I ordered I've had packages dropped of every day ? lol

I've received some of my books. I called to check the status of my uniform yesterday (I was nervous I missed the delivery) and they said they only sent a few put and are hoping to send the rest next week. Is there anything posted on moodle? I was told mine won't work until 2 weeks prior to school

I've been getting my books delivered, literally, every day. This might be a good strategy, or bad one, but I ordered the previous editions of a couple of books. They are considerably cheaper and I've heard, from multiple professors, that they basically the same book, since they themselves often have previous editions. That's my two cents. As far as Moodle goes, mine has been up and running, because I took classes at BHCC this past semester, but none of the nursing classes have shown up, yet.

I got my uniform in the mail yesterday! Looks like I'll be sewing over the holiday. Good call with the older edition books Karatefoot...I will most likely do the same with a few.

Karatefoot, do you mind sharing which of the books you bought the older editions? I wouldn't mind saving some money if I can, seeing as how I haven't ordered mine yet. Thanks!

These are the books that I got from Amazon. Again, if you're feeling brave, get them. I did, but I'm NOT suggesting that anyone else do this.
