Yeah - that is what I was thinking too. Interesting lol....I also think I already have the one from online on file at BHCC. Guess I should go in and check.

I had the one in the site filled out by my primary. I also made copies of my TB testing and flu vaccine form.

See everyone tomorrow! I see A300 on the agenda. Does anyone know if this is a auditorium? So we meet at Charlestown campus building A300?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's the auditorium.

By the way, feel free to say hi to me tomorrow, I'll be the 6'2" guy with salt and pepper hair and black coat.

Is anyone planning on working full time? I was but after looking at what my schedule will be I won't be. I'd be setting myself up to crash and burn.

I've decided I'm going to just work 20-25 hours max. I think I'm going to start with 20 and then if I feel like I can handle it I'll just pick up some more hours but you're right Skay, you certainly don't want to burn yourself out this is just the beginning lol

I wish I could cut back my hours ? I'm working 40 for now, if I have to decrease I'll cross that bridge when I get there. I made sure today the health insurance charge was removed from my account. Did you guys check to make sure it was removed? Since we are separated into groups, do both groups have any lectures together? Or is it all separate?

I also started ordering my books. The fundamentals book you can preorder on Amazon it releases next week. Also when you order your books compare the ones on the list to the ones on the bookstore website. On one or two of the books she had older versions/different isbn on the form we received.

I was freaking out about the insurance yesterday when signing up only because they had assured me like last week that it was waived but yes thank god it's all taken care of now. I was not trying to pay an extra 1,000$. As for the books I haven't even looked yet I'm a little nervous I'm sure they're gonna cost an arm and a leg :nailbiting: what did you end up doing about the discrepancy between the list and the bookstores price? Did you order from the list or buy the newer bookstore versions?

Oh and as for the groupings/lecture I have no clue but I'm thinking we just stay within our sections

I got them all on Amazon I just confirmed I was ordering the correct edition with what was on the bookstore site. For all the required text (beside the ati software) I paid about 360, so I didn't think that was to bad.

I know I'm happy the insurance was taken care of because I didn't see the insurance "credit" the lady at student payment was talking about online! Lol

Jackelyn, do you mind posting what books you ended up purchasing and how much they costed? I was looking at the list given to us at orientation then found them on amazon but after adding up all the "required" books, it's amounting to much more than 360.

Just curious but did you purchase all the ones on the list they gave us or just the ones that the lady told us were important?

Yeah I looked at the books the other day too. I figure most of them we will use for more than one semester and they will all come in handy for the NCLEX. I'm hoping I can bump my hours down to 30 but I have to talk to work. I would be going from 7am to 10 or 10:30 pm straight through - I just can't imagine being able to keep up with 15 hour days (not even including transit) eek. At least we have summers to work extra hours.
