I called the MPAC yesterday to see how long the waiting list is; since I only applied to Lubbock Texas and haven't heard anything yet. I was informed wait time on both Texas sites Lubbock and Plainview (Amarillo) are 7 ½ months she said the earliest I would get in would be late Oct. or early Nov. I am so bummed; so and thought I would share the info with anyone thinking of only applying to these two sites!

Have you considered changing your application to NPAC? It seems to be going much quicker up there since there are so many sites that are available.

wow! i just talked to an adviser, she told me that mid west was running about 4 months out. that was just on monday! she did tell me that the northern region tends to run pretty fast too. i am planning on mpac, but i was hoping for a cancellation date in august. i wonder if that's too much to hope for. i still have 2 exams and the fcca to complete before i get too uptight about any of it!

Please, please call and ask for a cancellation date at another site. I originally applied to the MPAC, but when I called on January 20th they told me the waiting list was long and that they were still working on students from November. I called SPAC the a few days later and got a date for FEB 6. I declined. Then accepted February 26th and got it out of the way. I only had 32 days to prepare;but trust me...when you know your date is close, you will get it done (the preparation and studying).

Call me crazy- MPAC? SPAC? THanks!!
MIDWESTERN PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT CENTER (like Wisconsin sites)
NORTHERN " " " (New York areas)
Southern " " " (Georgia )
Thanks for your replies and words of encouragement, my study partners agree with you guys as well.:)
I am over the initial shock, and will quit whining. On Monday I will sign up for all MPAC sites not just the two in Texas and all SPAC sites.
The lady had said ½ of MPAC (Wisconsin, Ohio) wait is 4 months and about the same for all Georgia sites. It was only the two in Texas that were 7 ½ months wait.

If you limit your sites, you can expect to wait longer. I applied to MPAC only for Mansfield, OH, because it was a decent driving distance for me, and I waited 7 months from application to CPNE.

SPAC seems to be about 4 months.... I applied in Feb in got a date in June, that I accepted... When I called on the phone, the lady was very nice and tried to give me a cancellation date like March 12... I was like no way hose' .... Playfully she said, " Come on You can do it, I had a cancellation and need to fill this spot" Playfully I said " Not with my 1950 dollars " lol

I also applied to all sites in MPAC. Application was accepted 12/20. Was offered a date on 2/25 for my date in Milwaukee April 30-May 2nd. My ready date was 4/15, so not too far off. Good luck!!
