So I just took my nclex this morning. Pretty bummed because I don't feel like I passed. It cut off at 86 and I'm going back and forth through my head and looking in all my books abt questions I can remember and trying to find the answeres.
Everybody:
Hey, life goes on! failed the NCLEX? take it again. Hug your kid or pet, make a nice dinner, and remember that when all is said and done, the thing most people have regrets about in life is their relationships with others. Meanwhile, persistence is a noble virute - after all, many great writers got rejected by countless publishers. etc. etc. I think we all spend too much time worrying and not enough time remembering that life is lived in the present. Once you get that job you want, there will certainly be something else to worry you. I'm so sick of being a worry wart - it's so important to remember that life is to be lived in the present, because that's all you can be certain about. hope I'm not too preachy - this is all stuff I try to tell myself every day.

Hey there. I'm from cali too. I took the nclex-pn on sept. 27 and STILL have no results yet. I'm going nuts over here. I tried calling the board (which they say don't do) but can't get in touch with a live human being. My name is not on the verification page yet so I'm really worried. I'm just hoping they are really backed up in terms of posting. Anyways...your not alone at being bummed out. As for me I did 205 questions. Good luck to you....I hope you pass!

When I took my LPN boards,I scored 1051 I think and in school I barely had the 80% to pass. I don't remember things well for tests. I passed the boards the first time. So, I bet you'll do fine.:yelclap:

For four months. CRAZY! This is so ridiculous. They are going to cause our fellow nursing students to die with anticipation!

I feel your pain! Don't drive yourself crazy looking up answers. I doubt it will do you any good in any way. Hang in there. You're in one of those %$@%$@%#@ states where you can't find out in a few days? It's crazy - wonder if there is any way to to get the powers that be put all scores on a website somewhere to prevent this agony, though it's no help to you right now. Was the content what you expected? One thing I realize is there really are certain things you just can't study for. Then your training may get in the way of the right answer, too. I have had some many practice questions where I'm sure the answer contradicted what I learned. Keep us all posted! (and FORGET about it - you rose to the occasion and it's time to kick back and be proud you did it/ happy it's over!

I know just how you feel ! I took it last week, stopped at 126 and passed!!
Do you have the quick "unofficial" result option where you are? That's what I did and what a relief . I also came home and started doing the book/question thing and as the previous poster said You WILL drive yourself crazy.
The only other thought I have is that i have yet to hear anyone say,"boy I think I just passed the NCLEX." But yet most seem to....
Good luck..

Yeah, honestly I'm doing much better now. I rarely think about it now lol. I'm so preoccupied with worry about how hard it is to find a job as a new nurse with no experience in health care that I have no time to think about the nclex lol. So the results will come when they come. Thanks for the words of encouragement.
