Hey Guys!

Applications opened today!! Wanted to start a thread for discussion.

I just called to ask when we would hear anything and she asked for my name and told me there still going through the applications.

I called BUMC and asked the same question. They didn't ask for my name but the man I spoke with told me they had a meeting this morning about this and that we should expect to hear back in the next week or 2.

Yes, I was a little disappointed that he didn't ask for my name. LOL

When I did my application it only allowed to me select one area of interest. This made me nervous because I applied to ED but I am open to other areas. I hope they call us and ask us what other areas we are interested in.

Are you talking about the BSWH Spring 2018 North Texas GN Expo on February 17th?

Yes, I will be attending. I have never been to one and I am curious as to what exactly it is.

I have not applied anywhere else, but I do have plans of applying at Methodist Dallas, Parkland, and maybe THR. Those are the closest hospitals to me.

I applied to the Temple and Round Rock locations and received an email for the online interview last night! Super nervous, anyone know what the interview is set up like? I'm also wondering if this means the interview only pertains to the Round Rock location or will it be sent along with both my applications, anyone know?

Also, I will be applying to other Central Texas new grad residency programs such as Seton, St. Davids, University, Methodist.. let me know if anyone else is!!
