LOL. I don’t think so. That’s a different requirement, which isn’t affected by Covid-19. LOL

Hi everyone,
I applied at Broward college three years ago and I got denied 3x though I think my GPA was like 2.6 or 7 cannot remember and my HESI scores were at minimum 75s and up but not greater then 80. Now I have an overall GPA of 2.85 GPA term and all of that 3.00
HESI scores : vocabulary 80% Math 84% Reading 86% A& p 96% Grammar 86%
I know bc is very competitive but what do you guys think about my numbers this in getting in and honestly Indo because is closer to home, tuitions is not expensive and I cannot afford in going to an expensive school. Any ideas suggestions ... anything will be helpful. Thanks !

Hi Liz!
Yes, I believe you have a great chance of getting in this time! They changed the admission criteria a bit. According to the Health Science Admission page last semester Students admitted into the program earned between 1 and 21 points. Also, the HESI test points don't count, they just require that you pass with an 80% or higher. It's still very competitive but you definitely have a shot. Did you reapply? Wishing you the best of luck ! You got this!
Yes I did already. I have the tingly feeling that I will this time.
Oh by the way I had 6 points

I think it’s hard to gauge over who gets accepted, because it really just depends on the other applicants grades and what not.
Wish I could be of more help. What is your GPA for the 5 core classes?
If iM not mistaken 3.0.
I’m planning to apply the part time
program. ------------------ and I spoke today and she said that the part time is not that competitive as the full time program

A=4
B= 3
C= 2
add up your 5 classes and divide by 5. That will give you your GPA.
good luck! I’ve applied to both full time and part time! Haven’t decided which yet, based on how CovId is going right now.
OK so I did my math I have the a 2.8 GPA however on A&P 2 I got a c on lecture and so I had to redo my class at keiser and I got a B. Now if admission counts this B for my GPA then it would be a 3.0. Girl I just hope I would be able to get in this time.
Honestly choose what is best for you. Now in my case if I could go to part time even better for me. I heard many stories on how tough on how the program is ??

is anyone else confused with the points awarded? For some reason I thought mine would be higher. Are points different for lab? Can someone Please provide Me the algorithm to calculate my core classes.
I got an A in A&P I & II and also the Labs, in English I got a C.

Did you take them more than once?
A = 4
B = 3
C = 2
Add up your classes and divide by 5. 18/5 = 3.6 Your points should be 12 if those are your grades for your first attempt of the courses.
