Broward College Spring 2021

Hey guys! Anyone planning on applying for the January/Spring 2021 start date at Broward? I know the applications just opened up.

Yes girl that money will definitely run out fast with bills when there’s nothing new coming in also. I truly do feel your pain. It’s incredibly difficult for adults to go back to school once they’re established in life (bills) and I truly commend all of us for doing it because it’s no joke. Especially with nursing. It’s not like you can take a couple classes here and there and then take a semester off and work to save back up.

Yes?  I submitted 2 applications for Spring 2021. 
 

Did somebody tell you that you couldn’t apply for both?

They allow you to apply for full-time and part time but when you get accepted you have to choose. If you get full-time you are able to later switch to part-time but you can’t switch back and I believe part-time can’t switch to full-time.

??‍♀️ It’s a little crazy but a girls got bills and I wouldn’t want to be in the program for 3yrs as well. From what I’ve hear the first semester is really the hardest and it’s not possible to work in nursing school. Personally, I’m a firm believer in getting what I want. So if it’s nursing school and a full time job then I’m going to get it. However to execute this plan you’ll have to literally re-work your routine and do some budgeting. if you’re living on your own you’ll deff need to find a roommate . You may even have to change jobs that offer later hours or use Covid to your advantage and get an online job so when your home you can work and study. You’ll have to live by a strict schedule with everything planned out down to the time you eat dinner and you’ll probably have to end your social life ?. Also work around the nursing schedule and not around the work schedule. The most nursing school could be is 7am-7pm(maybe different hours on some days) out of 4-5 days and some are half days. You’ll have to pick your strong and weak days, create study plans. Always think outside the box bc anything is possible when you put your mind to it! &&&& make sure you always get 8 hours of sleep ?

But someone stole my car THREE DAYS ago and it was fully paid off. So now I’m going to be stuck in car payments, ontop of rent and other little expenses. My life is a mess right now LOL.

I feel your pain.  My brand new car was stolen from my gated community that conveniently didn’t have the cameras working that night.....  

Never recovered.  Last known location is from a ping of my sun pass on Sawgrass expressway.  Police think it was on the bed of a truck.  Fun fact:  the cameras only work on the turnpike and expressway when you don’t pay.

I reported my Sunpass transponder stolen and took my licenses plate # off my Sunpass just yesterday. Whoever stolen my car was smart and did not get on the turnpike or Expressway because I live in Doral, so I live 3-5 minutes from the express. Crazy! I’m going to stick a tracking device on my new car. ? Luckily I only left my AirPods and my work vest in my car, easily replaceable.

That’s crazy! I Hope you’re doing okay. If anything maybe get a little putt-putt for school and once you graduate buy a new one.  Also you’ll deff be able to make something work cause my job is the same on hrs

 Could you track your airpods through find my iPhone?

I tracked them, but they were lasted used the day I used them. I don’t think they know they’re in my vest pocket because my work ID and I have pens and stuff that are hiding it. And honestly I’m doing okay, I’m getting a new car either today or this weekend. So I plan to get a decent car and just pay it off by January or so. I’m so thankful for my job, making $18 & $27/hour changed my life. ?
