is there another one you can take sooner???
Hi there,
I'm turning in my application on Monday for Jan. 2010. I have either 13 or 14 points. I'm scared I'm turning in the app too late. Just finished AP II and got my grade and can't get over to the school until Monday to hand in the application. Do you think it will matter as long as I hand it in by the cutoff date?
Thanks!
Michele
Michele-
It does not matter at all when you turn your application in, as long as it is in by the due date. The cutoff for Aug was May 15th, and I turned mine in on May 8th, and I got in with 12 pts. Also, I had attended the pre-nursing information sessions that are held by the Associate Dean of Nursing, and I had asked that same question myself. I was told also that it did not matter because admission is based upon points.
They will not accept or deny anyone until after the deadline date, so don't worry!
Good luck! With 13/14 pts you should be MORE than fine!
i'm not sure about that i though it had to be done and have copies of all your certs when you turn your app in. hopefully you will be ok. good luck
Thant is wonderful...from reading the past post it seems people with as little as 9 points got in so you should be fine...if you dont get in with that type of GPA then im gonna start worrying :uhoh21:....I still need to to take APII just the lecture before I apply so I wouldnt get in until may 2010...but keep us posted on whats going on.
I'm holding off until may too. I still have APII and Chemistry lined up. I dont suppose you have any idea which campuses are going to be admitting a May session?
Also, to those that have already started/gone through the program. Can anyone reccomend any advance reading we should be brushing up on so as to get a head start and/or not fall behind when the time comes?
i would def. get micro out of the way! that's what i'm doing i taking it this fall so i don't have to in the program. i'm also applying for winter 2010. you can do it while your in the program it's just going to be really stressful so if i were you take it now.
