Broward College RN Program May 2010

Has anyone turned in their application yet?! Btw, I heard that Central campus might NOT have a May class :sniff:

looks liek a lot of us live in one circle!!! I guess i will close my eyes and head to North.. Cuz I refuse to go thru hell at Central!!! everyone on this board cant be wrong LOL!!!

Yup, I heard central was hell, and i refuse to deal with people that would rather fail me then pass me. I'd rather travel for 2 hours, and go to a campus that would rather help me. Besides, i'm a morning person, so I have no problem with waking up early. Are u also thinking about going to north jam?

Yes, i am.. I am like you... I now know for a fact that there are teachers out there to fail you.. I got an A in my AP and Chm and it was because i had good prof. anyhow i would of had a prof who did not care and ust said read the book i would have failed. having an idea on what to study etc is sucha great help.. there is no way that a person can remember a whole book!!!!

just turned my application in to North so now the waiting game begin....I do have a quick question...when you turn ur application in about how long does it take to see how many points you get ?

I got my points the same day. When you log into BC's website, you will see "Limited Access Application Status" on the left column, click on that and you will be able to check out your points.

Good Luck!!

Really....mine say "You have no active Limited Access Program applications to display".....maybe tommorow I paid my application fee :(

Just turned my application in in person at Central Campus. The lady behind the little desk was VERY nice. Wonderful, in fact. She took the time to input my application while I waited. She tallied my points while I was there, too, and made sure my chemistry, which was taken at another university, was inputted correctly.

My point total was 12. I'm feeling pretty good right about now.

I don't have a fear of central campus faculty. I am pretty sure I can handle all types of personalities. I just plan on keeping my mouth shut and getting my work done, and learning as much as I can without being a suck-up.

Let's hope my plan works.

wow...congrats...but Im starting to get worried I have not seen anything yet.....I turned mine in at North....im getting scared....should I go to Central and see someone or just wait ?

did anyone have to pay a fee to apply?

Hi DawnSue,

Do you know if Central is actually on for the May program? I turned in my application yesterday and that nice lady you spoke of had not yet heard (at that time) if they were. I'm however still debating which campus to attend (North or Central) if Central is on.

RN2BKD,

I wouldn't worry too much just yet--maybe just call and ask when they will be processing the applications. I know at Central they actually do it on Friday and it should show in our BC e-mail by Saturday (if I'm not mistaking) but as DawnSue said--they lady must process a few here and there, as she processed mine application too.

Anyone going to the "Pre-Nursing Information Session" on Jan 22?

JonathanL,

I asked the lady at Central campus yesterday when I applied if there were any other fees to pay and she said no. I'm assuming that if you're a current BC student and completed all of the program requirements--that's it...

Hey Dawn, now i guess we play the waiting game huh :)
