So if they say we should know within 30 days they do not give an answer any sooner? And once they do give an answer when is the orientation held?
I am in the process of signing up for a repeat class to replace a grade and they have a class that starts March 16th.....so if I don't make the cut, I want to take the class and apply for the May deadline....thats why I'm looking for more specifics! Oh! and the cost is $2000....so I'm trying not to spend the money unless i need to!
I think in the past they have given the answer before 30 days, but when I applied, which was for August, they did not. We waited until just after 30 days.
Our orientation was held about 2 1/2-3 weeks after we got our acceptances. If you're an alternate, the chances of you getting in are very high. I don't think I have ever heard of any alternate not getting in.
As far as the class that you want to take, you should know by March 16 about your status for sure. I would guess the orientation would be by then, since its a month after when the notifications went out.
I haven't heard of anyone with at least 8 pts and up not making it in.
My friend is at Nova and she got on with Baptist. they are paying her tuition and they are paying her 12.00 an hour while in school... Does Broward or Memorial have that that same plan...
Jam, Broward has scholarships through Memorial, HCA and Broward Health. If you are chosen as a recipient, you get $6000 for tuition, nothing more. I've never heard of anyone getting $$ per hour for going to school.
THanks Sun, I guess Baptist has a different plan.. They gave her money towards her tuition and pay 12.00 an hour.. but Nova is whopping 2.5 years...ND HEAP OF MONEY LOL but at least she is getting paid... So do u plan on working at a hospital as NA while going to school later..
