Broward College Nursing Program January 2018

Published

Hey everyone! I know it's a little early for the January (spring) 2018 process but I'm super anxious! I basically wanted to start this topic so that every one applying for the 2018 term could all help each other out! I am retaking a course at Keiser then my GPA will be higher and my overall HESI score is an 88%. Post any questions, comments, or concerns! Good luck to everyone! (:

HELP!

Hi, I am currently talking the last prerequisites for Nursing in Broward College. I am looking to apply on May to get in the program on August 2018; however, I do not know if I should withdrawal my BSC2086, since I am not doing as expected and I probably will get a C, making my GPA drop A LOT.

This are my grades:

ENC1101 - B

BSC2085 - C

BSC2085L- B

BSC2086 - C* I am sill talking this class

BSC2086L- B* I am still talking this class

Any help will be appreciated it!

Also, I cannot afford the $2k they are asking in Keiser for BSC2086 Classes :(

Thank you :)

Your GPA must be a 3.1 or higher with a Hesi score in each category 75% and above. I have an A, B, B B, and a C in 1 lab and just made a 3.18 GPA. Alternates to be considered have GPAs FROM a 2.99-3.09. (From what I read on the BC website)

Since you already have a 'C' in BSC2085 its best to withdraw and then next semester aim for an A in both lecture and lab so that you have a good chance of getting in with your GPA.

Hi everyone!

Does anyone thinks the big new will be today? My anxiety is 100 right now.

They told me that it usually takes about a month

Some people say it today, other say next week or last week of October. The extend deadline push things back í ½í¸¬í ½í¸¬í ½í¸¬

I really hope so.

Yes! I'm happy this was already started, I thought I was going to have to start one myself. I'm super excited! I've been checking my mail constantly for my letter of acceptance.

I used to live in the Coconut Creek area, I just moved closer to the central campus for cheaper living. Trust me Coconut Creek is more expensive. But than again Coconut Creek is not the only area near the North campus. There's Margate, and Coral Springs is a bit less expensive.

Anyone going to do the program at Central Campus?

Also anyone currently taking Microbiology?

Yes it's very tough at BC. However, you will get a job quick after you graduate and take the board. You can practices on YouTube or nclex question books.
