Also, Kiki,
if you log into blackboard you'll see that even though the date says April you can start working on the course. It's already open. I'm going to work on it starting Monday.
Thank you. Yes. I applied in January for the LPN-RN transition program starting this May. I was getting a little nervous because I have not received my admission letter yet. After reading a few posts from this thread, I can say I'm more relaxed.
I'm really behind in this conversation. I still have a lot of reading to do because I don't want to ask any question that has already been answered.
Im in between north and central but leaning towards north but I like the new science building at central lol I didnt defer while I was waiting for them to approve my waiver the seats filled up. You?
I was in the same boat as you. If you are leaning more towards central only for the new building then I would just like to let you know that north campus utilizes that new building too. We go to central campus once or twice a semester to use their simulation lab for every class. So don't base your decision just on that. :)
Yes mam once your in the program but after process 1 and 2 you can apply. Broward health and hca has one also. They are all based off merit so you have to try to get the best grades possible during process!
I know I'm super late with this but I just wanted to clarify that the Broward Health and HCA Scholarships are not based off merit at all.. when the two very nice ladies who run it come in to talk to you about it they will tell you that they want students with good character. People who are going to contribute to their hospitals in a positive way. I still remember her saying, "We can teach you anything we need to in order for you to become skilled, but we cannot teach you to be a good person." Nurses are not only knowledgeable in their field but they infuse care and compassion in everything they do. The application includes basic information about yourself along with a few questions you must answer, and if you are called back for an interview the final decision is based mostly off of that. Good luck to everyone who decides to apply!

Hi kiki thanks for the info. Yes u need to print the certificates out. You'll actually need 3 copies I believe that needs to be turned into the nursing dept. Where did u do them? BC Online? If u did it through the school u should be able call the online dept. That's what I'm guessing.
