Hi everyone I didn't see one made yet so I guess this will be the official thread for BC May 2015!
Hey arielle! i honestly skimmed through before lecture to get a general idea of what lecture would be about, highlighted or underlined what I thought was important. Recorded lecture and listened so when I went back to read again I made sure to read understand and comprehend what each important detail meant. Most of miss fola's test are done by her lecture however if you don't read you will see a fall in your test grades. Reading and lecture are supplemental to each other so there really isn't any half assing anything. You guys have two extra weeks for each process so you should be able to establish a routine that goes and works for you. This is what worked for me but may not be your cup of tea. Also the fundamental skills book is an amazing way to test your critical thinking skills before a test. Makes you feel prepared in a way. I used the CD that came with the book because I am an interactive hands on learner, so it really helped me. Be active in your learning! You will do great!

Wow! Thank you so much! I've heard Fola is great...but unfortunately I have Kali..heard some student's have issues with her..but I will do my best. Any info you've heard from Kali? I will read and read ahead...heard that it a great way to stay on top of things. I am getting my books Monday and have the reading list from May. So I will try and get a general idea of our upcoming chapters so it isn't all new to me. Thank you again..I couldn't say it enough. Best of luck â¤
Please. Keep us updated? :)
Ok first and foremost, Kali was my clinical instructor for process I and II so I love her, but as a lecture teacher I'll be brutally honest. She sucks as per reviews I've gotten from everyone that had her for lecture for process 1. 15 people withdrew from her class in process 1 because her method of teaching wasn't reaching them how miss fola's did. We started out a combined class (fola and kali) because kali was so new and still learning the ropes so her students noticed the difference when they had to transition into their own classroom. It was a wake up call to say the least. With her reading before thoroughly and asking questions will be imperative. If you can, I would recommend getting the taped lectures of fola's class sent to you that way you can have fola reinforce the chapters you don't understand. Don't get me wrong 8 people dropped fola too for whatever reason but she is honestly awesome. She's funny, personable, down to earth and understanding. Kali is phenomenal as a person but for lecture, tough. I will keep you posted :)

Oh crap. Lol! Where can I get recordings from Fola. I wish I knew this ahead of time. Lol. I have Process 2 M and F hopefully that means I have Fola the second half..and for the most important. Ahh I'm nervous now. Lol please do. Haha
youll be fine! Remember this is just coming from the opinion of others you haven't been able to form your own opinion about it yet so don't let it scare you. Give it a chance! You'll feel better once in you're in the classroom setting getting a feel for everything and then observe the way she teaches. Monday and Friday sounds like you will have fola so no worries there. Ask anyone in her lecture if they have it for the most part most of the people I've met has been pretty laid back.
