Broward College Nursing May 2014

Hey there! This is a tread for anyone trying to get into the May nursing program in Broward College. Have you guys completed everything we need?

I still have to take my HESI and I am half way done with the Health Core class. I am so nervous. I am still not completely sure on how BC does the admission criteria, but I have high hopes.

Leave anything below. Lets help each other out :)

I've been following this thread for a few days now and want to start off by wishing everyone the best of luck and crossing fingers that we find out some good news today or tomorrow!!!

I just had a quick question for all who have applied, have you guys recieved points for your HESI or the college level math course?? Or just pounts for the GPA? Thanks guys!!!

Hi and welcome! My application status has been "application in review" since January. And I only have points awarded for my GPA

Thank you!! Mine has also been saying "application in review" since January as well with points only for the GPA but I just talked to someone else this past week who also has applied and he said that he has recieved points for all three requirments on the limited access application information page. So needless to say I became slighty worried about that haha thsnks again!!

I'm just like the 2 people above. My status has been "application in review" for over a month & I only have points for my GPA. HESI and math.. No points awarded, it just has a big green check under "requirement met"

No problem! It's now just a waiting game. I hope we hear something soon. I think I refresh the all nurses app and my email at least 20 times an hour!! The app is reassuring that I'm not the only one not hearing any news. I'm sure as soon as we hear something everyone will be posting ! I'm curious to know when the orientation will be since we're cutting short on time and wanna have a head start on reading as well.

Mine has said "application in review" for a while now... i have points awarded for GPA, but at the top of the lil box, i have an X mark next to "college transcripts received" and "evaluated".. Does anyone elses say this?? They should have all my transcripts, cause i did all my prereqs with them. Hoping this isn't going to be an issue and they just havent updated it..

Well you mentioned before that you went to Sheridan. Did you give broward college a transcript from Sheridan? That might be what they're missing.

Application has been in review since January as well. Only points for GPA like everyone else. Wishing all best of luck on their journey and if this process for applications is any indication of the future get ready for a wild ride. LOL

OMG!!! My status changed right now to "Current Status: Pre Admission" Yahooooooo

I'm sooooooo happy I don't know what to do!!! I already jump and scream lol
