Broward College Nursing January 2016

Hey everyone, I'm applying to the nursing program for January 2016 at Broward College. I guess this will be the official thread for the January 2016, Broward college nursing students; since no one has made one yet. Who else is applying for this term and what courses do you have remaining to finish pre reqs? I'm currently enrolled in A&P 2 lecture and lab and also a math class which are the last two courses I need to apply. I finish the classes in August yayyy :)

I see it says "CPR (approved by American Heart Association—submit signed copy of card; front and back)" so I was not sure is I ask them to give me a signed copy of if the card is signed and I just copy it. So anyone who has went and did the CPR or already turned it in.

It should say American Heart association on the front of the card. Right hand corner. I have everything besides the fingerprints finished physical and flu shot today. I'm doing fingerprints tomorrow so i can turned my paperwork hopefully tomorrow or monday as soon as I turn everything in I'll let you know how it went..

At Mel.. they want you to make a copy of the card front and back with your signature on it that's it make copies of everything you turn in

Right I knew i had to copy and sign all of them but I wanted to be 100% sure that was what they were saying. Thank you Washird

On the orientation packet for north campus it states you can't turn in all the paper work until November 30-December 4

North Students:

Should we have already received the orientation email because all i got was a nursing powerpoint talking about the program and the classes we are going to take but that's it. Nothing that says print two copies or anything.

If anyone is interested in books and supplies for the program. I have some books and a stethoscope, I also have the broward scrubs willing to sell them cheap. If anyone is interested let me know. My email is [email protected]

@nurse jock that is all I received as well. When I went to north yesterday they said the Dean would send us an email and that's what we bring to orientation. I don't know if this is the email they were referring to. The email that Nichole sent with the codes for north had another attachment and that is the one that has the dates to turn in and also states to make copies. 3 sets in total. One to turn in which are the originals and two copies to keep yourself.

I can't even attend Central Campus' orientation! It's on a Wednesday right during the time that I have class, not to include that we have a test that same exact day!!!

I would contact your dean. On Norths paper it said if we had a schedule conflict with a class to contact our dean. I'm assuming they will let the teacher know. I would do that bc you can't miss your orientation.

NORTH CAMPUS: If anyone wants to give me their email I can forward them the orientation packet for north campus. I received the email from the dean regarding our November 3rd meeting.
