Broward College Nursing January 2016

Hey everyone, I'm applying to the nursing program for January 2016 at Broward College. I guess this will be the official thread for the January 2016, Broward college nursing students; since no one has made one yet. Who else is applying for this term and what courses do you have remaining to finish pre reqs? I'm currently enrolled in A&P 2 lecture and lab and also a math class which are the last two courses I need to apply. I finish the classes in August yayyy :)

I'm not sure. That's why I didn't pay yet!!! I will know for sure after orientation. From what I've read, people on previous term said that they used them and had no issues. I will post a list of the courses I took later...

Tuberculosis - 2 hour

Florida Law and Rules that Govern the Practice of Nursing - 3 hour

Infection Control and Barrier Precautions - 4 hour

Medical Errors Prevention - 2 hour

Domestic Violence - 3 hour

Hepatitis C- 2 hour

OSHA- 1 hour

AIDS/HIV- 4 hour

I took them this month on the 7, 14, and 16...

Some were like a review because I am a pharmacy technician

Should be easy for me ...I have a bachelor in pre medicine (bio) and have worked in family medicine for 2 years :)

Are there any LPNs going into the generic program? Im an LPN too.

Broward college accepts ceu's from ceufast.com, and i was there last spring and thats the site i used.

Hey do you know the EXACT courses we have to do and also, are they all online and are you sure this year BCC accepts those ?

Did everyone here finish their math course? If so which math did you take? and has anyone gotten pre admission without finishing their math (currently still enrolled)?

Any general education math that is required just not sure if it can be done while in the program just like that's an option for micro to do it while in the program

If you have taken mat 1033 or sta 2023 then you can apply. These are apart of the prerequisite courses in order to be considered. Micro is not required until graduation.

Thank you I have taken STA2023 already. Which one have you tooken? And how did you find this out? Sorry for all the questions
