Broward College Nursing January 2012

Hey everyone!

This is a thread for anyone applying for the January 2012 class at Broward college for the generic nursing track. July 16th was the date to start applying and I believe it closes sometime in October. How many points does everyone have? I had to defer my seat so I will be starting in January for sure at north campus! if I can be of any help with questions pertaining to getting in or the HESI I will be glad to help! When I took the hesi they gave me a small dry erase board and an eraser. So you are allowed to work out problems on that. In the test there is a basic calculator for you to use, which really helps on the simple math time wise.

Can someone/anyone assist me with the BC's HCP 0001 (Health Core) that is offered at Sheridan Tech? I would like to know if someone can give me any information such as the course number and when it is offered at Sheridan.

I'm also applying for the May 2012 program, how many points did you end up having on your application? I should have about 7 points and a 88% on my Hesi test.. do you think thats good enouugh?

If you read the entire thread from the beginning it will be very informative because this is a very common question your asking, and it has been asked and answered many times. Anyway, I've read in this forum that prospects were accepted with 88% so, I would guess that is good...GL.

Where can I take the HESI? Is there an online application? And how much is the test...

You can take the Hesi at the Central Campus at Broward; All I did was go to the cashiers office and give them $60, then go to the Learning Resources in the Library and make an appointment. I think you can also take it at FAU. And there is an online application for the program I just printed off and am going to hand in. R u applying for the May program ?

From what the website stated, you will need to turn in all supporting documents such as everything you mention above. It is not recommended that you print a copy of your transcript, the offical, in a sealed envelope is requried to determine your elgibility.
