Broward college Nursing Jan 2015

Hello, this is a thread for any current nursing students at Broward college or those who have recently been accepted. I'm a bit confused on Broward's admission criteria. What classes exactly do they use to calculate the gpa?

I checked my BC Account last week and it showed I had over $4,000 in grants and my classes were paid for; now I checked it again this morning and they took it back, I literally cried. Has this ever happened to anyone??? I'm so scared I can't defer my seat anymore since I deferred from the August term.. I really hope this is a mistake:cry:

You need to go on and speak to them. I applied but haven't heard. I tried to call yesterday but they didn't have a clue

You better get on that right away! Call and talk to someone. That happened to me once but they took it back after the semester had started and it was cause I wasn't enrolled in enough credits. I was giving a very small timeframe to pay it or I would have had to drop my class. I seriously doubt that's the case for u I'm sure you're enrolled in enough credits. Call and find out if not go in person don't wait!

I called because the same thing happened to me. They told that the system was running academic progress on students and it automatically sent the e-mails out to students and removed the awards. But she said if you already had an award and your classes were paid for your award should be back up on your account before Friday.

Just checked my BC account again. Classes are paid for but don't have enough for books anymore, I hope I get the rest of my money back

This is all so scary when we only have a couple more days before payment is due. Praying financial aid comes through for all of us!!

Financial aid has no idea about anything because I just called. They said that loans have not been processed and not to worry. I told her I was worried because I need to pay my books. She said she emailed the loan processing people and she would call me when they return her email. I think financial aid is messed up right now. Very frustrating

I just checked mines and all classes are paid. Plus I have enough money for books and supplies although I already bought some of the books. You have to keep bugging them for them to fix the problem. Also, you can start buying your books with Financial Aid starting December 8th. :)

Ok my classes are paid and I have money for my books. So stressful smh

Can't wait to purchase my books; does anyone know what's in the book bundle? Or is that a waste of money? I don't want to buy any books I won't be using.

Don't you have to be a Broward Resident? I am a Miami-Dade resident. Also, I couldn't find any info on it.
