Broward College nursing fall 2018

Hi! I know it's pretty early to start a thread for fall but I just wanted to see somewhat of what other people have in their classes and HESI. I have to retake the anatomy portion of the test but everything else I passed, and I have a GPA of 3.18. Also, I was in another nursing program before this and didn't do so well because of what was going on in my life during that time. Do you think this will be a big issue regarding getting in??

Everyone in here is going to get their points before me that's just my luck lol glad you got yours! When did you submit your application?

I really hope I get my points by this weekend, especially since my bday is Monday lol

If I calculated correctly I believe my pre-req GPA is 3.5

I have not gotten my points yet either so don't worry you're not alone! I am trying to limit myself to checking only once a day so I don't stress myself out lol

Hey guys! I just joined this forum because I have applied for BC nursing fall'18. I have 15 points right now with a 3.9 Nursing GPA. I am really nervous for nursing school haha. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone though :)

Nice to meet you! I'm super nervous as well but excited. I think everyone is nervous because it's really overwhelming and there's a lot of pressure on us. Were your points entered already or did you calculate the points yourself?

I have a question regarding Broward College nursing pre requisites. How long the pre requisites are good for? I have BS in Health Svc Admin and minor in Health Sciences. I have taken all the pre req. But it was 2003. Does the pre req expire?

I think I read that the Sciences need to be within the last 10 years. But you should really speak with an advisor. I doubt anyone in this forum can give you the correct information.

I also heard 10 years but not entirely sure that's accurate. @Helenaw definitely speak with an advisor!
