Broward College May 2018

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hi guys!! Haven't seen any threads for May 2018 so I figured why not start one!! I just submitted my application for Broward's May 2018 LPN-RN program so anxiously waiting for the deadline. While I wait I'm attending Keiser to retake A&P 1 and lab to boost grade up! What's everyone doing to pass the time?

Thank you and yes I just want to make sure that it was even received at all because on mybc it says thatbi don't have any applications at all...so wasn't sure if it didn't get turned in or got lost or what

It won't show on the limited access application status. Did you turn it into the health science admissions office on north?

Yes I turned it in at BC north campus to health science admissions counselor...

Sweetie920, I had the same issue and I turned my application in on Feb. 6th. I sent an email to the health science department and they were able to at least make it so I have my application showing.

Another full week has past!! Getting closer to that 30 business days. I've limited myself to checking only 2x a day now. I can say the struggle is real lol. So will anyone be working during the program? I heard it's best not to work so that this program has all of your attention.

Hi everyone!

So far I know I have a 3.09 hopefully I can finally get in this semeterí ½í¸¬. I do plan on working during the program but only 1-2 days a week. I work at a urgent care so it 12 hours shifts. I willing to only work 1 day if it get to instense but I did hear that it's a lot of work and time maganement.

I'm a realtor so I'm kind of flexible with working around school...I have a 3.27 gpa even though I got 2 As and 2Bs but my English from 15 years ago had to be thrown in there which was a C so that is dragging my GPA down :( Wish I cared as much when I was 19 as I do now in my 30s...Ive heard that starting in summer is very hard compared to in August...but I really want to go ahead and get going...does anyone have any idea what the course schedule will look like for summer?

Sounds like me! I got a C in English in my first year of college are FIU and I thought it was enough because I passed. I didn't take it seriously then either, but now I'm 31 and kicking myself in the butt for it! I heard the same thing about summer classes but I think as long as we're all focused and dedicated we will be okay í ½í¸€

I heard the load was heavy but doable. You just have to apply yourself and another thing they say is TIME MANAGEMENT!!! A lot of studying and focusing as well.

Good Morning everyone!! Another week of anxiety but we'll get through! Also everyone check your registration portion of MyBC. Especially if you haven't attended (like me) since receiving AA. There may be some things that need to be updated and could hinder you once accepted into program. For example mine had no primary objective. I had to contact advising. Anywho just some friendly advice. Never know! ;)

Morning!!! That's great advice. When I applied for the spring program I was missing my residency docs and didn't know it. It had been a while since I was a student so that's a little detail I wasn't even thinking about. Thanks!
