Anyone Applying to the May 2017 program? I wanted to get into the January program but I was missing a math class and couldn't complete it in time for the January program.
The anxiety has been real to know a decision, we know you guys are working hard, and thank you for taking the time to post on here to let us know!
We understand that as well (2/3 of our team are students!).
Enjoy your Spring Break. Everything you could have done for your application is done. :)
I just emailed Liz Kenealy and asked for an update. I will let you know what she responds. My points are still not updated and I'm starting to get anxious.
Please do not email the Health Science Advisors for an update on your status. They do not handle admissions and emails get routed to the admissions team.
Hey guys, I purchased the blue bag you guys will be needing for broward college nursing program south campus and I don't need it anymore so I'm selling it for $150 with the receipt because they will be wanting to see the receipt as well. If anyone is interested please email me at [email protected].
I am also selling my books as well. They are in good shape and barely used. If anyone wants to know the prices email me at [email protected]
If you dont mind me asking are you leaving the program?

Does anyone know the rules about using the SIM lab? If we choose Central to have it on campus, can we use it when we want (maybe with a sign up) or is it only during classes etc? And if we choose another campus, would we be allowed to go to Central at times to use it to practice?
The SIM center is not open for students to practice. It is used at set times by the different classes. The campus you register on will offer open labs where you go in to use their lab to practice your skills.
Hey guys,
I also applied for Summer and I can't wait to start! I'm super nervous though, because there is always a chance that my application wasn't strong enough and it could get deferred to another term. I wanna just fast forward to where I am settled into classes. The future is just so uncertain. An acceptance would change EVERYTHING!
Anyways, I've taking A&P 1&2 , stats, a writing course at a previous institution, and taken and submitted the HESI. When I scrolled down the admissions requirements pdf it lists a bunch of courses required for the nursing program. It list courses such as HIV, OSHA, CPR and First aid. Do we need to take those courses prior to applying for our applications to be considered? I read somewhere that the submission deadline for May ended on Feb 15th.
Sorry if this question has already been answered, this thread has like 88 pages and I don't really have the patience to read 40+ pages of anxiety that mirrors my own.
Thank you!
