Anyone Applying to the May 2017 program? I wanted to get into the January program but I was missing a math class and couldn't complete it in time for the January program.

Good morning,

So all the speculating stops (and before incorrect information gets passed around), here is how it works:

*If you are being invited to join the RN program, your status will change to PRE-ADMISSION.

*If you are an alternate (in case students who are invited forfeit their seat), your status will become ALT.

After ALL the statuses have been changed, emails will be sent to everyone in that status explaining what the status means. DO NOT call or email to ask what your status means once you see it changed. Everyone's status is changed MANUALLY and it takes a while to get through everyone. Emails are sent out with 24 hours of the status change.

*If you are being invited, or are an alternate, you will receive an email to your BROWARD COLLEGE EMAIL ADDRESS ONLY telling you when and where the mandatory orientation is.

If you fail to respond to the email by the deadline date, you will FORFEIT your seat. NO EXCEPTIONS. If you fail to attend the mandatory orientation (and no prior arrangements have been made), you FORFEIT your seat. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Our goal is to have all decisions out before we go on spring break, so either this week or next. Please do not call or email to check on your status UNLESS you see something is wrong AFTER checking your MYBC account.

yeah I doubt it too I just want to see my points updated at least its giving me anxiety that I still have the same amount from January :nailbiting:

hahaha. That would be great. I doubt we'd have a response after just 1 week even though we are all hopeful anyway. :yes:

Nicole posted on previous forums that it can take up to 2 weeks to see. I'm sure they are working on it. I can only imagine how many app's they have to get through. But I def feel your pain in waiting lol

So retook BSC 2085 lecture and lab online at super expensive Keiser. Lots of writing but got an A, now my GPA is 3.2 and I'm nervious about getting in for May 2017. Please let it be enough! My application states it's in review. Who else anxiously waiting?

yes but i paid out of pocket because i had my fafsa to keiser

did you attend broward anytime within the 2016-2017 school yr?

oh wait so i looked and BC is already added on to the 2016-2017 one, so i should be fine.

then you may want to submit a correction to your 2016-2017 fasfa and add BC financial aid code.

I think you can still do it. I believe you can go back and put the information in that you get once your taxes are prepared.

I wish I can start my fafsa application, but my taxes appointment is for April 14th.
