So just putting this out there because I am super paranoid. I did not get into the program for January as I only had 2 points. (Yea I know, that sucks) Anyhow, after exhausting EVERY option I had to cave and just invest around 7 grand for BSC2085,BSC2085L,BSC2086,BSC2086L, and ENC1101 at Keiser. I got mostly C's in all of them except ENC1101 which I got a B in. By the time I am done with the first class feb 6th with my current grade of A, I will at least be able to submit that A for the may program even though I honestly want to get in to the August program. This is where my paranoia comes in. With the rumors of changes coming up for the students who transfer their grades for the program, Im thinking I should just take the first opening offered, (if it is in may) as I will be HIGHLY upset if the august applicants aren't allowed to transfer their Keiser credits. What do you guys think?

Are you not allowed to retake classes at BC? Not sure why everyone is mentioning Keiser for retakes

Yeah I wouldn't risk it, seeing as you invested so much money into retaking your courses at Keiser I would just go ahead and apply for May. I know it is a scary feeling because it is accelerated and all but this is something we all really want. I see it as, the first opportunity I get I will take. It will be fast paced and will be difficult but I am sure you want this just as bad as we all do so I say just go for it ! Apply for May ! There were rumors about them not taking credits anymore and in a previous post Nichole stated that as of now they're still accepting credits but that if there were any changes they would be posted on the website. I wouldn't risk it, I say if you get in for the May term, take it

Thanks to all who answered my question.. I appreciate it :)

Thanks so much!!! Yea that's what I will do!!!

I know it's not time to look yet but I signed into BCC and looked at the limited Access Application and the status was changed from App in Review to Current Status: Den-Transcript Not Evaluated. :-( I know it can change once the transcripts are evaluated but I just hate seeing that there haha. I'm literally checking my transcripts all day every day to see if they reviewed all of them yet and this is just the beginning of the waiting game to find out if we are accepted.

So I went to Financial Aid yesterday trying to figure out how much money I will have for Summer term so I don't have to wait till last minute to get my money together to possibly pay for classes.Long story short they couldn't help me. My pell grant is pretty much maxed out. So I"M relying on loans to help pay for classes and some living expenses being that I probably won't be working this first semester. I believe I will only have enough funds saved to last me 5 months or so. In the meantime I will defiantly need a job after that ASAP. The Financial aid adviser did say that they have other financial assistance for students being accepted into the nursing program, but of course we won't see that till after we register for classes. I think I'm going to try and get the workforce grant thats availible if I qualify for it. I'm praying that our funds are awarded at least two months in advance so we can get the supplies that we need. Whats worrying me is not having the money to pay for the classes. Any way 2 weeks and 3 days till the application deadline, but who is counting lol.

That's interesting. A lot of us are in the same boat. What's the workforce grant? Also I think we both applied for Jan and didn't get in, I had 2 points and now for may I think I will have 8. You?

HI! yes I applied to January term and didn't get in I had 6 points. I retook classes at Keiser and now I should have 11 points. We both came a long way with our points which is really good. The workforce grant is something that Broward career source offers its $8200, but its based off of income I don't have the direct link to it but I know its on BC website.
