Anyone Applying to the May 2017 program? I wanted to get into the January program but I was missing a math class and couldn't complete it in time for the January program.

I defiantly will hopefully we can get our acceptance letters by the end of next month. Based on last year May term they got them March 4th I believe. I basically read their entire thread lol. fingers crossed. This is our time. What campus do you want to attend?

Nice!!!!! Yea I'm in keiser now, will be son with all my classes by end of March. Good luck!!! I'm gonna check out the grant at career source. Let us know how everything goes.

Central. Only because of the size and being able to access more things like the lab. South is like 3 minutes from my house. I am really concerned about starting in may though because of the whole accelerated thing. I will only have one new grade in from Keiser in time to make the may deadline with 8 points so hoping it's not too crazy if I get accepted.

I love central campus. I contemplate between North and Central. Central is not close at all to me, but I love the sim lab, but I heard we all can use it. Not sure though. I'm with you on being scared. Its going to be really fast compared to January and August, but like another one said if the rumors are true about them stopping students from retaking classes in the future you don't want to risk all the time and money that you've spent. ARe you doing anything to prepare for May? May being fast pace I started reading the fundamentals book and writing notes for Vital signs, and Infection control. Those are the two chapters I've completed.Starting Assessment this weekend. I try to find nclex style questions just to get me in the swing of things. if you go back and read May term they have the pdf of the 8th edition of the fundamentals book I'm pretty sure its the same stuff just a bit added or taken away.. This is from January 2016 but maybe it could help. file:///C:/Users/kjackson/Downloads/Syllabus%20Process%201.pdf

Thanks! That def helps. I will look around in May. I don't know I mean I hope they don't change it. I don't see how they could legally, as an accredited school is an accredited school; but I won't risk it.

hello guys, for those that retook a&p in keiser online what can i expect as far as the assignments and the tests?

They letting you take it online? At my campus they stopped doing that. I am taking them both at the campus. It's actually great, no complaints here.

weekly tests and lab quizzes. If you take it with Prof Karpf the answers to the lab quizzes are all in his powerpoints. There are just pictures you have to identify things. I am getting an A right now.

anatomy at Keiser was easy, I really expected much harder. You have to write a lot of papers, though not too long. You get extra credit with additional papers. The lab quizzes are easy as well, toy can access the lab from the book online at the same time. I had Karpf as well

Is the books for the anatomy class at keiser included with the cost for the class? If not, how much did the anatomy lecture / lab books cost? Thanks in advance for your response

Nope. Nothing is included with the class. The anatomy text with the lab manual is 450 bucks. What I did was rent the text from amazon for 50, then I borrowed someone's lab manual and made copies of all the excercises and I hand those pages in. 450 for a book is ridiculous.

Thanks for your response nurseguy305

I actually purchased the book from Keiser because I waited until the last minute. Bad bad idea, it was over 400. I did not even open the lab manual, I only used the actual textbook. I'd suggest renting the textbook and definitely purchasing the online access (definitely a must). If you don't mind having the actual textbook in front of you, the online access alone would be good. Amazon I think has it for 100 or 120, but look early. When I needed mine I could not find the online access to purchase, it was sold out online which is why I had to resort to the Keiser bookstore. But don't stress, it is definitely doable as long as you make the time. Each week you have the discussion, lab quizzes, chapter quizzes, etc. Piece of cake.
