Broward College May 2017

Anyone Applying to the May 2017 program? I wanted to get into the January program but I was missing a math class and couldn't complete it in time for the January program.

I didn't know you could do it like that interesting. I took my scores and application to North Campus June of last year and my financial aid paid for my Application fee.

I applied through MyBC when I applied to the school. I chose my major and clicked yes to having all my pre-reqs done and paid my app fees online.

You also need to fill out the application for the program--not sure if you did that already.

hello, i dont know if this is certain but my friend just finished retaking her class in keiser and she spoke to a nursing adviser in broward and they said they're thinking of discontinuing letting students retake at keiser. if anyone knows please let me know i retake in march and i don't want to waste my money.

As of today, we will still take credits taken from private schools. If anything changes, it will be updated on the admissions website.

Hello. I just checked my bc account and I see that My transcripts have been evaluated and the new grade from Keiser is present. when I go to my limited access application I now have two applications, but they both say the same thing. Does anyone else see that? Anyway when the Nursing department starts reviewing applications I will now have a 3.54 gpa with 11 points. When i originally applied last year with a 3.0 and 6 points awarded. If anyone has the opportunity to retake a class please do it. Its really beneficial especially since this program seems like its becoming more and more competitive. We have a less than a month now so we are getting closer to the deadline.. Lets keep are fingers crossed. This is our time I feel it in my bones.

Does anyone know how BC awards the points per class and how to calculate it? I know I've seen it in other threads but don't have the patience to search now.

For 3 credit classes:

A = 12 points

B = 9 points

C = 6 points

For 1 credit classes (LABS):

A = 4 points

B = 3 points

C = 2 points

Add up the total points and divide by 11.

yes everything needs to be turned in by Feb 15th unless they extend the deadline.
