Broward College May 2017

Anyone Applying to the May 2017 program? I wanted to get into the January program but I was missing a math class and couldn't complete it in time for the January program.

thank you, also another question about orientation. There's no dress code right?

I, honestly, think that is the case for ALL campuses. Like I said before, there is always going to be both negatives and positives to whatever campus you attend.

No matter what campus, the program is not easy. It is tough because we want you to be able to pass your NCLEX at the end... and become good, knowledgeable nurses. BC graduates more students from the RN program than most colleges and universities in the area and has a higher pass rate on the NCLEX than most.

No, there is no set dress code; however, dress appropriately. No short shorts, shirts, see through clothing, pajamas, etc.

Does anyone know if the decision has been made for the LPN to RN transition?

We are working on LPN To RN Transition. The app period just ended on March 15.

Thank you very much.

Hi Nicole,

I was wondering how long all of the certifications take to complete, and which exact ones do we need. I also have my CPR/AED certification that was completed on 10/23/2015 and is valid for two years. It was completed through the American Red Cross so is that still acceptable?

I think you would need to re certify it will expire while we are in the program. Based on Nichole email that I got we can take our CPR anywhere as long as its AHA bls for the health care provider approved

We will go over the requirements at the pre-admissions session.

The CPR card must be BLS for the Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association. We do not accept Red Cross.

I have the an XXS uniform bottom and two stethoscopes if anyone is interested. Inbox me

Pre-admission as a transition student! I'm excited but extremely scared. This wait was entirely long.
