Broward College May 2017

Anyone Applying to the May 2017 program? I wanted to get into the January program but I was missing a math class and couldn't complete it in time for the January program.

For those of you receiving updated points, such as the 9 and 10 previously reported, are those an accumulation of points from GPA, HESI, and College math, or solely from GPA? Just curious, I know in the GPA the points go from 1-16, but then there are spaces for HESI and Math that have an area set aside for points. Didn't know if yours had changed in GPA or Total. Thanks!!!

Points are ONLY awarded for GPA. For HESI and MAC you will just see a check mark showing you met the criteria.

This is my first time applying too, but I submitted my application to North Campus. If I don't see any points by Friday, should I e-mail you or the admissions lady from North Campus?

I can understand. Just remember that it really doesn't go by date of application when we process them. (Imagine walking with a pile of apps and they fall, not fun LOL). Everyone will be processed before decisions are made. If you don't see any update by Friday, email me.

so are the updates done at different times depending on the campus? Or are updates done at the same time no matter the campus we turned the applications into?

How does one improve their points (for next time) if you've already taken your prereqs and obtained your GPA based on those? Would I have to retake a class and do better than I did originally?

Lol I remember when their use to be an app. Been a long journey for me as well. As for your question you would have to retake classes at s private school that BC will accept credits from. I went to keiser the cost is about $2250 per class.
