Hi I would like to apply for the generic May 2012 entry nursing program at Broward college. Any one else looking into applying for this program. Let's help each other out in this process. I know it's a bit early but I'm excited !!!:)
Has anybody call the BC to find out when the results come in?
Yes, they have until 30 days from the application deadline which puts it at Feb 15th. I think we're just all hopeful that we will find out sooner because last term did. May 2011 applicants found out as early as Jan 28th, but May 2010 applicants found out on Feb 10th. So it could be any day now... And the point ranges for those terms vary a lot which makes me nervous.
Staying positive for everyone though!!!!
Dammit. I'm nervouse and ****** at the same time. I feel like the one point I didn't get for being a Broward resident is a big deal. The crappy part is that I'm moving to Broward in March. I don't know why I put my Miami address. If I don't get accepted it will haunt me for the rest of my life, lol.
LOL... @ Qbanways - Try to stay positive cause if it's meant to be for you (all of us) it's meant to be (even though I will probably cry & think my life is over if I don't get accepted). I'm still applying to another school no matter what because I want to put all my options out on the table for the just in case scenario.
Anyone else have plan B, C, D....???
*Of course still hoping for the best and that I don't need to go to the back plans*
omg.. if I don't get in I will be so upset. And the thing is if people don't get accepted, how will you eventually get accepted? Can you take a class over or I guess just keep applying? I guess if I don't get in I will apply for the August program and maybe take microbiology. I might apply for the dental hygienist program and look into other schools. What other schools around here have a good nursing program?
hey everyone! i've been reading these forums for a while..decided to join today. i was granted 7 points and my hesi score was an 86% overall. i am worried because my points are very low.i have absolutely no idea what i'm going to do if i dont get in. i really want to stay away from any for profit schools...but everywhere else is so hard to get in to. like hope2bpicurn asked do any of you have a plan b?..i need one
I am driving myself crazy, cant even focus on other things....lol. Dying for my status to change so I can move on from here. arghhhhhh:flamesonb *pulling my hair*. Come on BC, enough of the suspense! Oh well, with all that said we still have to wait.
My plan B is taking more classes in the summer, retake the hesi A&P portion and apply for August. Really don't want to go to another school I love the tuition at BC!!
