Broward college May 2012

Hi I would like to apply for the generic May 2012 entry nursing program at Broward college. Any one else looking into applying for this program. Let's help each other out in this process. I know it's a bit early but I'm excited !!!:)

Yes! That's what I am hoping for too. I'm just trying to keep myself busy so I don't think about it as much, but it's SO hard to not think about it. Ugh... Can't win...lol.

Hello Leena27! I know I will definitely let everyone know when my status changes. Which campus are you going to attend? How many points did you apply with? I'm hoping to attend North and applied with 11 points (hope that's enough).

@Thedreamer.....I can speak from experience and I totally agree to your commit. "I wouldn't recomment it to anyone" You basically have to overall teach yourself and a good study group is key..... I am currently in the program but is seeking other options.

@ Leena27, points are determined using your gpa(max 16) 4.0 = 16pts, 3.9 = 15pts, 3.8 = 14pts, 3.7 = 13pts, 3.6 = 12pts, 3.5 = 11pts, 3.4 = 10pts, 3.3 = 9pts, 3.2 = 8pts, 3.1 = 7pts, 3.0 = 6pts, broward residency (1), HOSA (5).

Our points were added 1-4 days after we dropped our applications in, since the deadline has passed to submit applications yours should have been updated already. You might want to check with the admissions dept. to confirm that your application was received. Double check on "MyBc" and look under the "Records" tab, then "Limited application status", when your points are awarded they display there.

Still no answer eh? I guess they should have the answers by next week. I'm kinda anxious.
