Broward College May 2016 RN program

Published

Just wanted to start a thread for Broward's May '16 RN program! I'm finishing up my application process this week.

My hesi was a 87% overall, with 90's in Math, Reading, and Vocabulary, an 84% in grammar, and a 80% in AP.

My prerequisite GPA is a 4.0

From what the welcome letter stated I think we copy everything except the certificates and Cpr card

But they only give one cpr card and at the pre admission orientation they said we put the actual card on the back of our ID while we're at the hospital. I made a copy of everything including the CEU's. Ugh so confused [emoji20]

You need to make copies of the certificates and a copy of your CPR card. You do not turn in your originals. You will wear your CPR card with your ID badge.

I Pm'd you

If you haven't already done your CPR certification, I recommend going on American Heart Association website and looking for a class offered nearest to your location. I found two ranging from $50-55 dollars. I paid 50 for mine, half the price BC offers it. & they do give the card once you complete and pass the test. Taking my CPR class this Saturday!

you can make a copy of the front and back of your cpr card, couldn't you? and than keep the original.in your personal portfolio?

I guess I have to go in to the campus in the morning for them to fix my primary objective because I cannot register

oh no, you couldn't get it done this morning?

I know Paramount training services does CPR for $45 and its accredited by the American Heart Association and you receive a card.

No. My primary objective says graduate so I assume I need to go in and get the objective changed. I wish I would have thought about that yesterday!

sorry to hear that :/

I believe the broward nursing club offers cpr classes for $25 but I'm not sure if it's for renewals or new cards too. Find them on fb bcnsa nursing or via email nursingclubbc@gmail
