Broward College May 2016 RN program

Published

Just wanted to start a thread for Broward's May '16 RN program! I'm finishing up my application process this week.

My hesi was a 87% overall, with 90's in Math, Reading, and Vocabulary, an 84% in grammar, and a 80% in AP.

My prerequisite GPA is a 4.0

i emailed a current student, and she said that she had started the CEU's a week before orientation.

anyone know if the FL Laws ceu on the ceufast website is the same as the one offered at BC?

Hi! Both of those drop box links have expired. Can someone either email me or post updated links?? I have downloaded the Potter Fundamentals but am looking for the dosage calks and pharmacology. Thanks!

is that dropbox site free?? I can set one up and send the links to you, but they are too large to send through normal email

9am for me also! I think I may call them and ask about starting those certificates. I really don't know if I should or not. lol

The will give you specific codes for the ceus at orientation. They are online so don't stress over it. Easy to complete.

I currently work in the hospital as a CNA and we had to do the same certifications here. I wonder if they will accept that..

Yes, they will provide a list at orientation. It doesn't matter when you took it as long as you have them all, can provide the certificate of completion. and the certificates are not expired. Since you are taking them in advanced they will most likely need to be renewed during the program so they will just tell you to make sure to provide that when the time comes or they will not approve you for your next clinical.

Am I the only one with orientation on April 1st?

I'll be there on the 1st!

How's everyone doing?

Excellent. Can't complain. Ready to get started. Started reading vitals and infection control just to practice critical thinking questions. You?
