Broward College May 2016 RN program

Just wanted to start a thread for Broward's May '16 RN program! I'm finishing up my application process this week.

My hesi was a 87% overall, with 90's in Math, Reading, and Vocabulary, an 84% in grammar, and a 80% in AP.

My prerequisite GPA is a 4.0

Okay I was just wondering if the bridge orientation is different from the generic.

I think the bridge is different from generic, because Lpn have most of the requirements and generic requires more time. I am hoping they have spots left for the bridge. My teacher didn't put my grade for math that I needed, I am gone try to talk to the Dean of nursing on Monday.

Hi is the Transition program available only in May? Or you get the option to start in August?

You don't get any credit if you are an Lpn in the generic program . You have to go through the whole thing from the begining. Did you apply for the bridge program

The difference is only 1 session between bridge and generic according to the program sheets online

No but I'm thinking of doing it next year.

Oh ok you probably would have had a better chance getting in if you would have applied for the bridge program.

Yes but I don't have the LPN license yet. I was going to just start school this year and be done by next year around same time to apply. It seems it would be better.

9am for me also! I think I may call them and ask about starting those certificates. I really don't know if I should or not. lol
