Broward College May 2016 RN program

Just wanted to start a thread for Broward's May '16 RN program! I'm finishing up my application process this week.

My hesi was a 87% overall, with 90's in Math, Reading, and Vocabulary, an 84% in grammar, and a 80% in AP.

My prerequisite GPA is a 4.0

Ugh I feel like north campus is behind on everything lol. No book lists, no syllabi, financial aid etc etc [emoji30]

We are not that ahead. The reference numbers given dont work. I'm waiting on my financial aid to clear and no syllabus either :spit:

Davis drug guide

Cox clinical application

Castillo strategies

Mosby lab

Jarvis

Fluids and electrolytes

Rented

Perry clinical skills

I still need to get the med surg texts. Most of it I found online used. The perry textbook only cost me $8.00

Any updates on financial aid?

North financial aid said their hands are tied. They don't know when aid will post. They assured me my classes wouldn't get dropped.

Huh? Register for spring? Or do you mean fall...? Haven't received anything from north, besides an email from the north dean about the tabs test.

It will be given on the 1st day, only tests reading comprehension.

Hey guys! My names is Paola. Im registered for the central campus. I was wondering if anyone knew if we needed the nursing kits for the first week of class?

Yes! Just checked. my aid was processed. Classes are paid I csn go get my things this week so relieved.

from my understanding the kits won't be needed until the nursing process 2 clinicals.

Anybody wants to buy a Fundamentals of Nursing (8th Edition) used book?

Its in pretty good condition aside from some highlighter marks in just the first chapter.
