Broward College May 2016 RN program

Just wanted to start a thread for Broward's May '16 RN program! I'm finishing up my application process this week.

My hesi was a 87% overall, with 90's in Math, Reading, and Vocabulary, an 84% in grammar, and a 80% in AP.

My prerequisite GPA is a 4.0

I can't find the 6th edition of Cox Clinical anywhere. Do you guys think the 5th ed. is ok ? Also with the financial aid if its not disbursed but awarded is that a good thing? My classes shouldn't get dropped right?

I couldn't find it either. I googled it and it looks like they are only available for pre order which makes me wonder how the school has it if they even do. I haven't seen it at the a school but I'm not 100% sure. On the author website it shows it's going to be out September.

Sorry for the probably dumb question, but I am kind of late with submitting my documentation, but I will tomorrow after I finish making a copy of everything, but for the CPR card we just submit a copy of it to the office right?

Are we allowed to get our card laminated?

I'm working on the STAT book homework but have no clue where to get the answers for the questions. It's just a workbook and the online elsevier component is no help. Do I use perry and potter? I tried using it but not everything is in the text book. Any ideas?

yup..I knew it...NOT COOL and so sad because I know a lot of people have lost seats and are losing seats because of this..

people having lost seats to this is ridiculous enough. I've been on top of financial aid every single day..they extended my due date to May 13th. Going over there again today.

I started working on the stat book a bit as well, some of the answers I can't find either. Just going to look it up online and try to sort it ut from there. What parts are you working on?

Where are you guys seeing that we need the 6th edition? When you click the bookstore link for our schedule it has 5th edition.

It must've just recently have the 5th edition because before it said the 6th
