Broward College January 2019

Published

Hey everyone!

I know it's a little early to start this but I just submitted my application yesterday and wanted to know if anyone else has submitted theirs yet.

I am looking to go to Central campus and I'm impatiently waiting to see if I have been accepted.

Hey everyone, I got accepted as an Alternate as well. Pretty bummed out about it but if it is meant to be.. It will be. I wanted to ask on the 22nd for the Alt Orientation do we find out if there is seat available? Or is there a possibility that we have all the way until the program start in January to find out if a seat is available?

We may or may not be able to tell the alternates if they have a seat on Monday. It all depends on how many students show up for pre-admissions on Friday.

Will there be an email sent out once seats are no longer available? Pretty much stating that we will not be able to attend this semester?

Yes, I make sure to send those emails.

Ok perfect. Thank you !! I appreciate that you take the time out of your day to answer questions for all of us when you don't have to.

Good luck to everyone. I was accepted as an alternate too, I had mix feelings but God works in mysterious ways so Im not worried. Preadmission orientation for alternates on Monday, cant wait! Shouts out to everyone who is at today's orientation! Also shout out to Ndullard who answers our questions on this forum! We appreciate it!

I hope we both get in. I haven't even thought of a Plan B School to go to :(

Any suggestion?

I know this is alittle nerve wrecking:

BC: Ideal choice

MDC: although its very far.

St Thomas University: Pro-No entrance exam Con-but that too is also far.

PBSC: I dont think I ever heard anything about their program

FAU: Only accepts high school grads OR if you have a bachelors in another field so they're off the list

Last option I guess would be to just invest in myself and get a loan for either Keiser/Chamberlain

Do you still have the book?

Anyone looking to buy used books and scrubs for the program?

Size small scrubs (3 pants, 2 tops) and I have ll the books for the entire program.

Do you still have the books and scrubs?

As many of you guys may already be aware, many of us have already attended our orientations and are very excited about what is to come! By the way, congratulations to everyone on being accepted, as well as becoming an alternate!

How is is everyone feeling about everything we have to get done within the next month? Also does anyone know of some places to take car of the immunizations for a reasonable price without insurance?

Feel free to add advice and comments as needed and thanks for sharing everyone!
