I re-took at FAU the math protion and it was the same exact test. Good luck!

I-emailed health sciences and advising, several days ago- actually, I think the day of our orientation. No response. (I have to add here that I love the irony that they said they'd be sooo helpful with us because they know we need things cleared up and may need help and want to be here for us for registration so there are no issues.)

I went into Broward advising at Central campus today because I was finally done with not getting any answers. I spoke to a fast track advisor to make sure I had the ''override'' for my ENC (bc I had taken AP English), and if anyone else has a similar question, the simple answer is- you have the ''override'' if you have an 'X' marked off next to the class in question on your degree audit. :)

My next question was- why did I still have an, 'n' under prgrm admt status, whereas some students have a 'y'? She was stumped on that for a bit, and said she'd heard of that...and had to go ask another woman, who appeared to be someone a bit further up the chain. The advisor told me I wouldn't be able to register for classes if it had an 'n' there. After finally speaking with the other woman, and getting things clarified several times, she told me- nevermind, the 'n' is okay and WON'T prevent me from registering for classes, it's just a problem the nursing department is having, but we here at advising can't do anything about it. As long as you are showing a 'Nursing student' designation, you'll be able to register just fine. So I was happy.

But my NEXT question was about the e-mailed schedules everyone was supposed to get, ''oh, probably the next afternoon'' (day after orienation!!) The advisor had no clue what I was talking about. She asked the other woman again, who ALSO had no idea what I was talking about, and when I mentioned these e-mails to her with schedules she talked to me about, well, you're assigned a campus, aren't you, can't you look at their website maybe? -I said, no...you pick a campus when you register. It was a ridiculous conversation I won't even get into the rest, I just wanted to add that gem of wonder that she had to offer. Ugh. Broward is so disorganized!!!!!!!! They drive me crazy!!!!!!!!!!

It's Monday evening and we still don't have our schedules. I personally need to attend Central, as does my husband. If they really ''fill up in the first half hour'', then it'd be super awesome to have the schedule ahead of time. Sigh.

Why does every step of the way have to be so frustrating? And you're so excited that you finally got in. Is this any indication of things to come? Am I getting a wee bit jaded already? Oh, ladies.

Anyway, can't find our NUR/MTB/HSC (classes we need to register for Wed) on Broward's course search. Nothing shows up. So I'm clueless.

If anyone gets their schedule for Central, please, please, PM it to me. I will bake you cookies. Really, delicious cookies.

Some students sad they received an email the very same day, after orientation, from the South campus with booklists and other info. I think they are disorganized as well. I am glad that the "X" means there was an override. I was going to speak w/an advisor on Wednesday. Thanks for sharing the info.

I cant believe emails for schedules havent been sent out yet. Worst comes to worst everyone would just have to go to the school and register :uhoh3:. Just make sure you're one of the first in line!

hey i also had to retake the math. just register and take it. you only have to do the sections you need to redo so if it's just math you can just take that section. once your done they will give you print out and take the new scores to bc and they will update the scores. =) good luck!

I went to orientation on the 8th and I got the South Campus schedule emailed to me not to long ago. We should have the schedule by tomorrow I'm sure. No one has the central campus schedule so no one will beat you in line lol... I am heading to North. I have that schedule :)

Why would we have to go to school to register? Couldn't we just do it online like we did for other classes?

At orientation they said (just in case) you were blocked from registering for some apparent reason it would be best for you to register at the school.

They have your time for registration posted on the login page. Thatz when we can register. I assume we don't have a problem with registering for the classes.

You can register from home online. They said you would needed to check with registration before Wednesday if there is a potential block on your account. I went and talked to registration today because I took my pre req's at another school. He told me that I didn't have any blocks on my account, so evidently they already sent the list of people who would have blocks to registration for the overrides. Not to be harsh, but they know they haven't sent out the schedules yet, no one has them, if we are all emailing them that is like 200 emails, it's just going to take them longer to get it to us. Be patient...it will come! They know we register on the 3rd!
