New thread started for all those applying for / accepted to / attending Broward College January 2011. Chime in, let us know how you're doing!
Has anyone, that has been accepted, living in WPB? I live here with my wife (ICU RN) and the sooner we start studying together I think our stress levels will be reduced for the first semester. :) See you guys at Pre Admission :)
Hello priorHM3-
Navy? I'm prior HM too. Coast Guard. Don't live in WPB.
You'll be going to North?

Hi! I'm not certain which campus I will attend. I can get to any of them. I applied to classroom and online. The letter that was emailed didn't say which campus or anything about online. I'm heading down to North Campus in an hour to talk to FA. I want to be sure everything is in order and that nothing prevents me from starting this Jan.
Did you try email?Make sure that they have all your stuff including the HCP class.
They originally told me that I didn't turn in my Hesi scores and I had turned it in.
They looked again and found them.
It has a green check mark next to my HESI showing that it was received. I definitely have to go in and talk to someone. I live in Lake Worth so its just about getting the time to go down there between work and school. I emailed the person that you get when you call health admissions but she has yet to reply to me.
My culmative HESI score was a 90 and the lowest grade I got was an 85. I don't know what the problem could be! I even have a BS in Biology. I got all A's in my prereq's except one B. And I completed the Sheridan course for all of the certifications.
I think you should call or visit the health science department. With your scores you should have gotten in but that's just my opinion.
Good Luck
I just found out (finally!) that I was accepted. My status changed and I received the orientation email! Yay I'm so happy and relieved. Not sure why it took so long but I don't care now :-)
I was going to apply to the North campus but I'm also interested in the online program because I live in Lake Worth. I would also be interested if anyone has personal input about the pros and cons of going online vs face to face. Thank you!
