New thread started for all those applying for / accepted to / attending Broward College January 2011. Chime in, let us know how you're doing!
I thought I saw it under the "read the health sciences programs and pre requisite requirements" link on the admission information tab. I was trying to post the link but for some reason my laptop isn't able to read the pdf file even though I have adobe downloaded already. I may have read it wrong but I thought I saw open ended, admits in January by the nursing section.

Wow, you're completely right!! I went to that PDF file and it DOES say open ended. Their website under Admissions still says Sep 15...Lol, why does BC always have to have things so complicated?! I really hope this semester doesn't get all crazy like last semester did.
I have an approved waiver for my HCP. When I submitted my application, my degree audit showed the section for the HCP as Waived. Now, it is showing that the area is not satisfied. I called the advisement dept and they told me the nursing program took the waiver off, but my waiver counts and my application is fine. This sounds fishy to me... I mean, why would they take off my waiver but tell me my app is fine... my status does say "application in review".... Does anyone else have this issue? HELP!
I suggest going to see the health science advisor at your campus and bring your HCP certificate with you. I made sure she put the waiver in there. I've been told you have to check your degree audit every semester for things like this because all of a sudden, something that was there will disappear.

Mine says the exact same thing...they didn't accept my HCP from Sheridan either...I am going to have to go in and talk to them...some of my pre req's didn't transfer from another state. I wonder if there is any way around this. I'm going to go in and talk to them!
