I did hcp at Sheridan Tech. They didn't credit me any points for pre reqs....it's weird.

It must be a mistake. I'd for sure go in and talk to them! They are IMPOSSIBLE to get on the phone! Good luck.

Just a quick note. The reason we all got accepted for January is because last semester was the first time they used the HESI and there were a lot if mix ups.. And I mean A LOT. It has never been this way. It seems that they have everything together again. They don't usually spill people over into the next session. It's basically they take the first 300 or whatever amount of seats they have. If you don't make it you simply get denied. I got denied back in May, because there were no more seats. If all your paperwork is in and you passed the HESI and you see something weird I would go there ASAP. Everyone that answers the phone is going to tell you something different. Take it from someone who has been in your shoes since last May when I originally applied. Good Luck and go IN PERSON!!!

I strongly agree with this meassage. If you are trying to get in contact with someone at BC DO NOT CALL! Lol.. they will definitely give you the run around and everyone always has something different to say. I'd advise everyone to just go to the school personally. If I had done that I would have probably been in the Aug2011 Nursing Program.

No! I haven't yet and haven't heard of anyone who was not "pre-admissions" since July. . And now I have a huge dilemma because I got into NSU nursing program and the $500 to hold my seat is due soon but I really want to do BC's program but I'm afraid they will screw me over like they did last semester. UGH.

Thank you!!! I know it is but it's really expensive and a much longer program but it is for my BSN. BC is just the more logical choice. But keep me updated if you hear anything!!

I have a friend who is a nurse at Jackson, she said that it is worth getting your BSN now, because there are so many nurses with just the RN. I will let you know if I receive an email from the nursing program admissions... let me know if you get one too....hopefully we will both get it! and soon! :)
