Broward College hopeful for May 2013 Nursing Program

I know there is a lot of confusion going around with the new requirements for the BC nursing program so I wanted to start a thread for those of us finishing prerequisites and applying in January. I'm in the Core class now, but other than that I'm finished with everything else and getting very excited to start next year!

Which campus are you going to?

Me? If I have a choice I would prefer North, but Central would be alright plus it is the closest of the three. The gossip I have heard is that South is rough, so that would be my last choice, but I will be happy with a seat anywhere.

Previous classes- when they found out:

2009- Feb. 5th

2010- Feb. 11th

2011- Jan. 28th

2012- Feb. 10th

hmmmmmm I wonder how big the classes were? So excited yet nervous.

Wow I hope it's sooner than later... My status changed to "application in review". I'm so nervous but really excited as well. Can't wait to start in May.

Is anyone else waiting for a waiver for HCP from Central Campus?

Yeah, I'm waiting too. It's been about 3 weeks since I submitted the waiver. I checked in a couple weeks ago and the lady there said she has a lot to go through, but I would think they've gotten through them by now. :\ What does your application status say?

It's still says "Denied-Pending Dept Approval" I told myself I wasn't going to panic over this whole thing...and as soon as business hours open...I'm back to panicking...I need to chill. I submitted my waiver a few months back, I am just being impatient.

My status was "pre program application" and then it changed to "application in review"

That is what mine says as well, but in my case I am waiting on them to review my Sheridan Tech HCP Certification.

My account still says Den-Transcript Not Evaluated even though all the transcript sections have a check next to them. I had to sign a Microbio waiver since I already completed it. Just getting a little worried since people's status have begun to turn to application in review.
