I know there is a lot of confusion going around with the new requirements for the BC nursing program so I wanted to start a thread for those of us finishing prerequisites and applying in January. I'm in the Core class now, but other than that I'm finished with everything else and getting very excited to start next year!

Specializes in Mother Baby / NICU.

Alright, I hopped on the bandwagon and put a pic of my pup up as my avatar too. :)

I'm really hoping today is the day...but I'm thinking that since it seems like the classes usually find out on a Friday, we might not find out till this Friday either...let's hope I'm wrong!

Hey, unfortunately due to the new HESI rule, you will not be able to take it again until June-July which means you'd have to apply for January 2014. I too, didn't do well in vocab, but I must say the words that they gave me were really bizarre! If anyone can recommend a study guide for vocab, please let us know. Well today wasn't the day! Anyone else a living stress ball right now?? It's the only thing on my mind all day and all night. Even in my dreams I'm plagued with congratulations or better luck next time.

I hear ya!! I've been playing each scenario in my head for a month! Then there's the everyone got in except me. The stress of waiting for everyone to start posting!! The high, the low, the unknown!

Not to worry Stacie29 you are NOT alone!!!! 4 more days or less! Hang in there ;)

this is getting to be a little ridiculous!! all this talk about the classes before us getting word on the status of their applications early and they make US wait?!?! it's tortuous! i go back and forth from MyBC to my school email account at least 20 times a day. after each time, i look at the forum to see if anyone has heard anything. it seems as if time has been moving more slowly as the 15th approaches! aaahhh!! sorry folks... i had to get that off my chest. my friends and family are about done with listening to my crazy talk! anyway... do you think we'll get an email before the limited application status is updated or vice versa? just curious. here's to another day of anxiously waiting!!

I'm ashamed... I was caught at Target last night checking my status on my IPhone at 430pm. My husband asked why..he said "you know they are closed", I said "we'll maybe someone was working late... Maybe they feel bad for us..."

I think I may need some type of outreach group when this is over.

I like it. All aboard the CooCoo is right. I've told myself you know what it's useless to look until Friday but then remind myself we only have 24 hrs. To accept out spot so I check. For those of you that are going back and forth between status and email, do you know you can forward your email to another mailbox. I have mine forwarded to my personal email that is linked to my iPhone. If anything comes in from BC it goes to my inbox.

You can also set your BC mailbox up directly on your iPhone if you like as well, it worked for me when I had an iPhone, and it also works now with my Android. (but yes I check mine obsessivly anyway!)

I wish there was a way to set up an alert when your status on the limited application status changes...then I could alter my obsessive online stalking somewhat...Hmmn..nope I wouldn't trust that the alert would be fast enough.

If we don't get word today, I'm going to stomp my feet and hold my breath in front of the Health Admissions lady's desk until I get an answer...oh with my arms crossed. Then immediately apologize.
