Broward College hopeful for May 2013 Nursing Program

I know there is a lot of confusion going around with the new requirements for the BC nursing program so I wanted to start a thread for those of us finishing prerequisites and applying in January. I'm in the Core class now, but other than that I'm finished with everything else and getting very excited to start next year!

I don't think it'll be today. most didn't find out until 3 weeks after applying and for us it's only been 2 weeks. I'm thinking next week. Anyone know which campuses are offering summer yet?

Question: once we pick a campus are we stuck at that campus?

Once we pick a campus we are stuck at that campus. I asked all 3 locations to see who would be holding the summer session and the only one that answered was South campus saying that the decision hadnt been made yet. I know that the North campus will have the LPN transition as it does every year. I cant go to North, so even if I get in and North is the only one, I will have to wait until January of 2014 since I havent taken Micro yet and will need to do in May 2013.

Amen! I am pulling for North even though Central is a little closer. South would be quite a journey for me, but I am willing to crawl over broken glass at this stage. Have to do what we have to do you know?
