Hello!!! Just wondering if anyone else has applied for August 2010 yet? :)

That's great! I am so happy for you. I've watched your journey through this thread. I'm hoping that I have the chance of getting in.. and I hope my HESSI score isnt holding me back. I was only 2 points away from passing A&P. I wonder how many seats were left.

ralphigesbabe I am so happy for you!! Congratulations!

codabrown21, I "passed" everything on HESI except for math I got a 74% and "passing" was a 75%. Honestly from what I was told and seeing that I have 16 points the HESI is whats holding you and I back. She showed me my application and there was a note stating my HESI math was to low. But she did say that they are waiting on word from whoever is in charge and that next batch they were going to move all the scores down. But I still haven't heard anything so I really don't know what is going on =/ Just super annoying that the test that "no longer matters" really was everything! Wish I would have known that while studying for hours and hours to get all my A's when the only thing that mattered was a 2 hour test.

Go online!!!! I've gotten all of my books for great prices online, used... I used half.com and amazon

Blondie & Coda I actually became really frustrated last week and called and spoke with the Dean. She explained to me that the scores do matter, and that the scores not mattering was just a bad rumor. On their website it still states you have to take the test. If the test didn't matter then we wouldn't have to take it. I think it was all a big misunderstanding. The girl I turned my app into told me that the HESI scores didn't matter, but she was misinformed. So when I heard this I registered to re-take the math portion before the July 15th deadline. The minute I turned in my score my status changed to pre admission. I want you guys to know that if I were you I would re-take that HESI, you only need to re-take the portion you didn't pass. I paid only $59 @ FAU. The next round of admissions for January I believe are going to require HESI scores too, so just in case RE-TAKE it. The January application period starts tomorrow! Stay on top of things. I got sick of waiting and if I were you guys I would take action now before it's too late.

I went to Quick Family Emergency care in Davie. Phone number is 954.640.1200. I paid $50 for a vericella titer, $25 for the ppd test, and $35 for the tetorifice shot.

What about the MMR titer?

I just called Broward and I asked the lady in Nursing if they are only accepting people who passed the HESSI and she said there is no fail or pass conserning the HESSI. These people are weird.

That is the same thing I kept getting from them. I went to Central Campus and the lady there told me that I shouldn't even re-take the HESI b/c all the seats are taken!!! She told me to just wait. If I would have WAITED like she said my app would still say in review! I think they are told too many different things that even they are confused. But the truth is that it matters, because that was the only difference between me and you guys. I passed the test and they immediately changed my status.
