Did anyone already turn in there applications for Fall 2009 @ B.C.? because I am turning mine in next week before the deadline and now I have to wait AGAIN and keep continually looking at my e-mail and the myBC account for the Limited Access Program everyday hopefully I get in THIS TIME being my 3rd time :yeah:

sunray, is medical errors, the same as medical errors prevention?

i took medical errors on ceufast.com...i have not paid yet, however i passed, but i wanted to know first.

also do we get any extra points for having all of the certificate?

i ahve not taking the health core class yet.. but i have all the certs.. well almost, i need my cpr, which i think nova was the cheapest so far..

oh yea, if i dont have my cpr will it be cheaper to just take it with the health corem or should i just take the cpr and get it out the way..the health core is separate from the cpr class, so you will have to take both classes. i happened to take the core class at sheridan tech, and that class includes the cpr and all the ceu's, but at bc they are all seperate courses.

Hey, anyone who is an alternate IS TO attend orientation, so if you haven't received an email yet, you need to contact the health science dept and find out when you need to go. My friend who is an alternate just got her info. There is still a lot of problems with the email system. Friends, as well as, my micro professor are having issues with it.

Off topic, I have been in bed for literally a week, sick....fever, chills, headache, cough, etc. Went to see an NP on Friday and she said it was probably the Flu. At the time, my lungs were clear. My cough has gotten worse since then, and I wasn't going to go back to the NP except I wanted a stronger cough medicine. So I went today, and she checked my lungs again, and said my right lung had diminished sounds, which meant there could be fluid there. Went to have a chest xray done, and it came back that I have pneumonia. Bleh. I also had my micro midterm today that I wasn't able to study for, so I hope I did ok. I had an A in the class so far, so we'll see. I ended up skipping my Micro lecture class, which is after my lab, to go see the NP, which I'm glad I did. Anyway, just wanted to vent.

Yeah, that's what the lady from Health Science Office told me too. However, she told me that if you got deferred because your reply didn't reach Health Science, then you should bring all copies of your email to the orientation. Hopefully, she is correct, since Twana is on vacation. Anyways, I hope you get a really good grade in Micro. That class was plain hell for me, however, i manage to get a B in the end. i only like the lab for micro which was more fun and entertaining.

Has anyone gotten their criminal background checked or their titers? That's all i need, I'm done with the CAEs.

I had my titer drawn about two months ago just in case. And even though I had the Hep B series as a kid I had no immunity to it, so I had to start the series again. I already had the first two shots. My third is in November. They think it didnt work because there was two much time in between the vaccines. What a pain. Do we get the criminal background paperwork and the drug test at the orientation?

Yes, they will be giving us all the forms and imformation at the orientation. WOW, I can't wait to go. I 'm so excited.

Well i hope and pray they dont implement it anytime soon , cuz i going for the 2010 August class which is the May Cutt off 2010,, Cuz i am having my baby in August and I wont be able to take my last Class Chemistry till jan.

Do you know if they want Chm Lab as well, i didnt see it on there site, but iknow Dade wants both. Wanted to know bout BCC just in case it was a glitch that it dod not say LAB

BC does not require the lab, but unfortunately, a lot of colleges want it if you want to get your BSN. There are some that don't, but most do.

BC Doesn't require CHM Lab. However, if you plan to further your education, you may want to take the lecture and lab together since the info is related.

Does anyone when we can all register for the classes? Is it on a specific date and time that we must attend? or Is it after the orientation, that very night?

Cause as for now, I still have a problem with my status and it will probably be taken cared of by Thrusday. Hopefully, they can fix my status and i can register at the same time like everyone else.

Does anyone know when Twana is coming back from her vacation? Also, who takes over her work when she is gone? I called the health science office and i think i got irleen? or eileen? or something like a that; however, she wasn't helpful at all.

you will receive your registration date and time at orientation. if you are attending south or central, register early. if you are attending north, you'll have a seat. i went to campus to use a computer there to register just in case i needed assistance. and i was happy i did because i got blocked and couldn't register, but since i was on campus, i simply went to an advisor and health science and got it cleared up right away.
