Hello Everyone,

I am new to this site, but I've seen other threads for other semesters for Broward College. I didn't find one for August 2015. I figured this would be a good place to share each other's excitement to (HOPEFULLY!) start the program in August. Let's all support each other on this journey! :)

need to do CPR, live in Tamarac, off Saturday. any suggestions on where I can go.

Hello Central campus Peers,

I am ready to start studying, but I have Fin aid and can't purchase my books until Aug 10th. In the handout the exam dates are listed and the material that we will be tested on. I really want to get a head start on all those chapters.

Wow the math test 10 questions to continue in the program. Sikes... I have to freshen up on my ratios ugh.

Bummer for us. The bright side is it is basic math similar if not the same as what we saw on the hesi math. Keep in mind we can always use the math tutors in the math lab at the campus ;)

Sure will! I will not let math be an issue for me. Plan on getting the book Aug 10th so I can start reviewing. lol

What are some good nursing shoes, i have wide feet.

Hey sweetcup. I was looking for some shoes yesterday. Found a pair of sketchers..all white.. And non slips. Read reviews that they were great for nursing school and for those with high arches and wide feet. They are a little pricey ($55) But they would most likely last throughout school. Comfort is a big factor too. Cheaper shoes may mean bad quality. Just an fyi! :)

Do we have to have white shoes for the first day of class?!

First day you wear your scrubs with regular shoes meaning a sneaker the shoe must be close toed of course with a back. Clinical days scrubs and white sneakers or close toed white shoes with a back of course
