Hello Everyone,
I am new to this site, but I've seen other threads for other semesters for Broward College. I didn't find one for August 2015. I figured this would be a good place to share each other's excitement to (HOPEFULLY!) start the program in August. Let's all support each other on this journey! :)
For those of you that went to north campus orientation wasn't it alot lol so much restricts and things about going to lpn school if you don't pass like 2 or 3 courses. Sounds so tough but you know what... No worries! If you have God on your side there is nothing you cannot do Just trust and believe in Him and Let His will be done ! Words of Wisdom and Encouragement from my heart to yours!
I should of added that my name was roxii77 on the all nurses sight at the orientation lol... I was Roxanna and I said "I hope and Pray for the best" for us all!

i was present as well, i heard you but couldnt see you as i was way on the other side of the classroom. I am still not clear on that one is it if you fail any two nur courses, or does that apply of you fail the same nur course twice that you will be dismissed from the program? any clarification would be appreciated (we must try not to fail any course at all, once you fail one you cannot fail another, i intend on not working at all during the program i cant afford to repeat any course as i do not have financial aid and my nursing career with bc would be on the line, i was impressed that stella from the nursing club got an A in pharm being that is an intense 8 week course you dont hear too many students getting A's in nur courses
@Roxii77
Yes, it was a lot to take in. And yes I do believe that He didn't bring us all this far to fail!!
I was sitting there saying to myself, we have these established all nurses relationships but we didn't know who was who face to face. However, Im SUPER DUPER excited!!!!! And nervous.
Let us know how the orientation went I'm sure every campus is slightly different but it's still good to know.
On another note I just called south campus book store following up on the orientation package the girl told me to check back in the beginning of August :/ I feel like everything is so late for south.

Shucks ! Well hopefully when I head there august 3 they will have it !!
Anyone for South get Prof Jackson's email for pharm, says we should read the first 10 chapters before class. On rate my professor it says this professor doesn't really use the book. I found the 2nd edition online for free.
Yea I got the email and I did read It that we do not use the book on rate my professor . So I am just going to wait but if you can share where you get the free 2nd edition it would be helpful :)
