Hello Everyone,

I am new to this site, but I've seen other threads for other semesters for Broward College. I didn't find one for August 2015. I figured this would be a good place to share each other's excitement to (HOPEFULLY!) start the program in August. Let's all support each other on this journey! :)

I noticed that as well. I read from a previous post that they were doing the infection barrier 1 clock hour to make up the 6 clock hours. Not sure if this is the right class...maybe try and get a hold of someone and clarify? :yes:

Also, how exactly do you complete them on the website..read up on the topic and take the test? Sorry, haven't started on there yet. Thank you!

Once our certified background check was completed...what exactly do we do? Are the results shared with the school..anything to print out?

guys you might want to register for the course at Broward college its fully online, just to be on the safe side, idk if ceufast.com will meet the 6 hour requirement for TB/OSHA/HEPATITIS, THE COURSE IS ONLY $21.O5, God forbid we dont want to be pulled out a class or not be able to go to clinical for a stupid continuing education class, i suggest you guys/gaLS just take that particular course at bc, and do the rest of the continuing education courses via ceufast.com

For anybody that doesn't have insurance & was thinking about going to Doctors 365 , I went today & they were very nice & quick . I was in & out in 30 minutes . Now I'm just waiting for my results hopefully everything comes back normal so I don't have to pay for vaccinations.

Me too!! According to the RN Orientation letter they only want us to purchase the orientation packet that says on the cover JULY 29, 2015 . No where on the letter does it say to wear uniforms. I was looking for that information too, i believe for south they have to wear uniforms but its stated on their welcome letter.

On Friday i purchased two scrub sets from south campus because i couldn't find XXS tops from central. I couldn't believe the two sets would be $74 plus change

So they're already selling the scrubs? Did you happen to see the orientation packet that we have to purchase? And wow $74 for two sets everything is so pricey. Does anyone know if we can buy the scrubs from somewhere else?

I'm paying out of pocket for my tuition,books and supplies :blackeye::banghead:. I went to the south campus book store ( I'm going to central) but i will call the book store tomorrow to check if the orientation packets are in.

check out this bookstore, you can get your book and supplies from here at a discounted price. They are not affiliated with broward however they carry all the same supplies as well as the uniforms, if you had financial aid they also accept that as a from of payment if not you pay however you would like.

Hey has any one received the subsidized yet??? I already got my fin aid but nothing from the loan . I already did my student loans.gov counseling and promissory note ... and I accepted the awards.

Mine shows an amount. It's there and paid my fees. ..but they don't send it to you left over money till later. Does yours even show up?

Negative . It still.shows I owe $389 for the classes after my fin aid has been applied. I called before and they told me that wait a little longer another batch of loans are coming in before the month is over. Are you going to south campus ? I was reading past post and I think I saw your name.
