Hello Everyone,

I am new to this site, but I've seen other threads for other semesters for Broward College. I didn't find one for August 2015. I figured this would be a good place to share each other's excitement to (HOPEFULLY!) start the program in August. Let's all support each other on this journey! :)

Yay now I have 2 people going to south. This is nice lol. I honestly don't remember if I chose option A or B. I just copied as many reference codes as I could n picked away lol. I know I have clinicals on Tuesday. I'm just ready for the program to start, but at the same time I'm liking all the free time I have left lol.

The tuition went up per credit hourit use to be $106.00 per credit hour now its $113 per credit hour

Thanks for the info but mine was thousands of dollars over. Apparently they had me down as an out of state student but all is fixed now

Me too!! According to the RN Orientation letter they only want us to purchase the orientation packet that says on the cover JULY 29, 2015 . No where on the letter does it say to wear uniforms. I was looking for that information too, i believe for south they have to wear uniforms but its stated on their welcome letter.

On Friday i purchased two scrub sets from south campus because i couldn't find XXS tops from central. I couldn't believe the two sets would be $74 plus change

This is what South campus welcome letter says

As previously mentioned, orientation will take place on South Campus on August 21, 2015 from 8:00am- 6:00pm. Orientation is required. Students must come to orientation in full BC nursing uniform with their BC ID and Orientation package that can be purchased in the bookstore.

North campus: we have to put our paperwork in two seperate folders. Do they mean a folder with pockets or a manilla folder?

What!! That's crazy it's that expensive. Yeah im not too clear on that, but I think I'll just get the uniform and wear it to be safe. You would think all the campuses would be on the same page lol.
