Hello Everyone,
I am new to this site, but I've seen other threads for other semesters for Broward College. I didn't find one for August 2015. I figured this would be a good place to share each other's excitement to (HOPEFULLY!) start the program in August. Let's all support each other on this journey! :)
hey future RN's I'm new to this thread but I'm still iffy about the upcoming email on tuesday explaining how we register for the courses. Are we going to automatically be able to choose the course and campus with a set of codes? because the speaker said if we type in the number code for the course, that we would be wasting a lot of time. Im so confused lol
Also, for CPR certification, if we complete it with AHA do we still get the license for it or do we just get a certificate? i think the speaker also said we must have the actual physical license
Hey tommy! It's Vanessa lol (a&p 1 and 2) yes, they issue you the actual CPR card that we wear everyday with our badges. I called and confirmed with the coordinator before I paid.

On Monday we'll be receiving the doctors paperwork. Tuesday, we'll get an email with the three campuses(which you must print out and put in Order from your first choice to your third choice) for each campus, they'll also send you class codes because all of them will be different. Just make sure you're signing up for the right classes at the right campuses.
And the "wasting your time codes" are the generic codes that were on the paper that we received at the information session last Friday. Do not, do not, type those in. They'll send you the codes in the email.
i don't think the codes matter much the class will be listed alongside with the campus, once you type in nur everything comes up, the names of the courses havent changed
